Historical Background

• Built by: Jaswant Thada was built in 1899 by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, who was the 33rd ruler of Jodhpur.

• Maharaja Jaswant Singh II: He ruled from 1873 to 1895 and is remembered as one of the most prominent and progressive rulers of Jodhpur. His reign brought about several social reforms, infrastructure improvements, and the modernization of the state, earning him respect and reverence.

Architectural Features
